Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Copywriter Supervisor to lead the development and delivery of written content across all active client accounts. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and commerce — focused on ensuring every product copy is engaging, aligned with platform requirements, and designed to drive real impact for our clients.
You’ll lead a multigenerational, data-driven team of copywriters responsible for creating and optimizing product content across various marketplaces, always applying SEO best practices. Beyond supervising workflows, we’re looking for someone who’s also invested in people — someone who guides, supports, and helps the team grow with clarity and confidence. The Copywriter Supervisor is expected to stay ahead of retail media trends, ensure the team is equipped with the right tools, and bring a strategic eye to insights and content performance.
What You’ll Do Here:
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead the onboarding process for new copywriters, in collaboration with the Creative Manager, ensuring they are set up for success and fully integrated into the team’s workflows and company culture;
- Identify individual and team development needs, promoting continuous growth through hands-on feedback, mentoring, and technical upskilling;
- Oversee task organization and workload distribution in Asana, maintaining visibility of each copywriter’s priorities and ensuring balanced, efficient allocation of responsibilities;
- Oversee the Copywriting team’s strategy, ensuring alignment with marketplace best practices (Amazon, Mercado Livre, etc.), while anticipating opportunities and providing clear, actionable guidelines;
- Lead and uphold a rigorous quality assurance process that reflects the team’s strategic priorities and creative standards;
Content Operations & Workflow
- Manage the Content Tracker, keeping close control over deliverables, deadlines, and client-specific requirements to ensure smooth operations;
- Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes, working toward greater efficiency, scalability, and creative excellence;
- Review and refine internal and client-facing presentations (in both Portuguese and English), ensuring clarity, consistency, and language accuracy;
Strategic Collaboration & Growth
- Participate in client and account Kick-Off meetings to understand goals, provide creative input, and establish strong collaborative foundations;
- Act as the main point of contact for Account Managers, fostering a consultative relationship and proactively contributing to strategic discussions;
- Collaborate closely with Search and Media teams to integrate SEO and keyword insights into content creation, enhancing the performance of paid and organic placements;
- Maintain a commercial and analytical mindset, consistently identifying new content opportunities that can enhance client performance and unlock growth;
- Foster a collaborative, supportive environment with internal teams and external partners — both regionally and locally — strengthening cross-functional relationships and team culture.
We Need a Person With:
- English proficiency;
- Advanced copywriting skills, with a solid grasp of persuasive and SEO-oriented writing techniques;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage feedback and negotiate effectively;
- Completed higher education in Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or related fields;
- Proven experience in copywriting or related writing roles;
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring copywriting teams;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
- Analytical mindset, capable of identifying patterns, anticipating content needs and contributing to strategic improvements;
- Creativity combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach;
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) at an intermediate-to-advanced level.
