We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Social Media Strategist to support the planning, execution, and optimization of organic social media initiatives across multiple platforms. This role is highly operational and execution-focused, working closely with the Social Media Supervisor to bring strategies to life through strong content planning, execution, and thoughtful community engagement.

As a Social Media Strategist, you’ll be responsible for managing editorial calendars, working closely with creative teams to coordinate content production, handling community management, and supporting performance reporting. You’ll ensure that day-to-day social operations run smoothly, deadlines are met, and content aligns with client objectives, brand voice, and platform best practices.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Content Strategy & Editorial Planning
    • Contribute to the creation of engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, copy) tailored for each platform.
    • Plan, manage, and maintain monthly editorial calendars, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with client briefs and overall strategy. 
    • Create playbooks and long-term strategic frameworks.
    • Translate business goals into social initiatives.
    • Participate in and support content brainstorming sessions & briefings.
    • Curate content references, trends, and benchmarks to inspire creative execution.
    • Create detailed creative briefs for design and video teams, including objectives, formats, and platform requirements.
    • Create copy and captions for posts based on social SEO and social best-practices.
    • Coordinate content timelines and deliverables, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
    • Schedule and publish content using social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite and Sprout Social.
  • UGC & Influencer Coordination
    • Support the development and execution of UGC and influencer initiatives, helping define content needs, formats, timelines, and success criteria in alignment with overall social strategy.
    • Coordinate and manage UGC and influencer content execution, either by working with third-party creators and partners or by handling operational execution internally, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and seamless integration into the editorial calendar.
  • Community Management
    • Manage day-to-day community engagement across platforms, including responding to comments and direct messages.
    • Maintain a consistent brand personality, tone of voice, and level of responsiveness (Social Customer Support).
    • Escalate sensitive or complex community issues to the Social Media Supervisor when needed.
    • Monitor conversations, mentions, and audience feedback to identify trends, sentiment, and engagement opportunities.
    • Gather qualitative insights from the community through social listening to help refine and optimize social strategies.
    • Proactive community management to monitor community conversations, mentions, and trends to identify engagement opportunities, surface audience insights, and flag potential issues or opportunities before they escalate.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Monitor key performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth)
    • Track content performance to identify what’s working and what needs improvement.
    • Support the creation of monthly social media reports, including insights, learnings, and recommendations for future actions.
    • Assist in organizing data and performance insights for internal reviews and client presentations.
  • Project & Task Management
    • Manage and track social media tasks and workflows using Asana or similar project management tools.
    • Ensure alignment between creative, strategy, and delivery timelines.
    • Follow up with internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently and proactively flag risks or delays.
    • Maintain organized documentation, calendars, and reporting files.
  • Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with designers, video editors, and supervisors to execute high-quality social content.
    • Support the Social Media Supervisor with operational needs and day-to-day execution.
    • Collaborate with other marketing teams (paid media, PR, content) to ensure consistency and alignment across channels.

We Need a Person With:

  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience managing corporate or brand social media accounts.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as META, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Strong understanding of organic social media best practices and platform-specific nuances.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with attention to tone and brand voice.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Impeccable organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, calendars, and workflows simultaneously.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong follow-through.
