The Commerce Media Associate supports the day-to-day execution of retail media campaigns across assigned LATAM accounts. Under the guidance of senior team members, this role builds foundational skills in campaign management, platform operations, and performance reporting across LATAM retail media networks including Amazon Ads (Brazil, Mexico, Colombia), Mercado Libre/Livre Ads, and other regional marketplaces.
What You’ll Do Here:
- Assist with setup, trafficking, pacing, and optimization of campaigns across LATAM retail media networks (e.g., Amazon Ads BR/MX, Mercado Libre Ads/Livre Ads, Rappi Ads, and other regional marketplaces).
- Assist with media optimizations as directed by the lead Media Manager.
- Perform weekly QA of active campaigns and budget pacing.
- Build and maintain client-facing performance dashboards and reporting summaries specific to retail media metrics (ROAS, CPC, CVR, share of voice).
- Support monthly actualizations and reporting processes.
- Assist in monitoring currency fluctuations and regional budget pacing nuances across LATAM markets.
- Apply basic negative keyword management and assist with search term harvesting to improve campaign efficiency under senior team guidance.
- Shadow and support DSP campaign setup and trafficking as part of foundational platform training.
- Assist with proofing and formatting client-facing documents, reports, and presentation decks to develop written communication skills.
- Complete Amazon Ads Foundations, Sponsored Ads, DSP, Video Ads, Retail, Campaign Planning, and Amazon Marketing Cloud Certifications.
- Complete Mercado Libre/Livre Ads platform training and accreditation processes.
- Go through accreditation processes for relevant LATAM retail media networks (RMNs) as platforms become available.
- Stay current on platform updates, marketplace trends, and e-commerce developments across LATAM.
- Build awareness of key regional marketplaces including Rappi, Falabella, Liverpool, Magazine Luiza, Americanas, and OLX.
- Develop awareness of third-party retail media management tools used by the team (e.g., Pacvue, Skai, or Perpetua) and their role in campaign operations.
- Build foundational understanding of attribution models (e.g., last-click vs. multi-touch) as they apply to LATAM retail media reporting.
- Develop foundational awareness of Topsort as a retail media monetization platform powering sponsored product capabilities for multiple LATAM retailers.
- Begin to understand the difference between trade/co-op budgets and media budgets and how these often fund retail media campaigns at the client level in LATAM.
- Build awareness of Brazil-specific retail media networks, including Magalu Ads, Casas Bahia/Via Varejo Ads, Shopee Ads BR, iFood Ads, and Americanas Advertising as distinct ad platforms beyond their marketplace presence.
- Participate in internal team meetings and contribute to account discussions.
- Support senior team members on client-facing document preparation.
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders and internal teams on LATAM-specific campaign needs.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
We Need a Person With:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred; coursework or experience in Latin American markets is a plus.
- Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, retail media, or performance marketing.
- Internship or coursework experience with Amazon Ads, Mercado Libre/Livre Ads, or similar marketplace advertising platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with LATAM e-commerce landscape preferred.
- Awareness of how client trade or shopper marketing teams interact with retail media operations is a plus.
- Exposure to any third-party retail media or digital advertising platform (e.g., Pacvue, Skai, Helium 10) is a plus.
- Basic awareness of Brazil’s e-commerce landscape, including key players such as Magalu, Casas Bahia, Shopee BR, and iFood, and how their ad platforms differ from Amazon and Mercado Livre.
- Familiarity with iFood Ads or Magalu Ads platform is a plus.
