As a E-commerce Marketplace Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of associates and supporting client accounts from an operations perspective. Advanced execution of Commerce Operations tasks, including listing creation and maintenance, image, video and size charts uploads (bulk or otherwise), and overseeing audits, along with troubleshooting. Understanding of Brand Story and A+ Content is expected.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Lead and develop a team of operations professionals, guiding and providing strategic direction to ensure the team meets its goals and delivers outstanding service.
  • Manage all operational processes for our brand partners across various marketplaces, including Mercado Libre, Amazon, and Walmart, with a specific focus on the Brazil and Mexico markets.
  • This position is accountable for the timely and accurate delivery of tasks, and is expected to have high-level problem solving skills. Meetings with internal teams and clients are also part of the expectations for this role.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of product listings, including copy, images, and other metadata, ensuring they are accurately uploaded and maintained both manually and via file-feeds.
  • Drive troubleshooting and case management, overseeing the resolution of complex issues related to listing problems, catalog errors, and other marketplace challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account management and analytics, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on brand partner strategies and objectives.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the LATAM team.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the critical growth factors that influence success on marketplaces in the Latin American e-commerce landscape.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes, adapting to the dynamic nature of the e-commerce environment and marketplace changes.
  • The Manager is responsible for approving time off requests from the Associates, time allocation, and task delegation. They also lead 1:1 sessions with their team, providing coaching, career development and performance management with the team, with focus on both their well-being and the successful completion of deliverables. 
  • Advanced Excel and English skills are required, along with good organization, communication and leadership skills. This position is expected to provide assistance in process documentation and optimization.
  • Reports directly to the Associate Director, Commerce Operations.

We Need a Person With:

  • Fluency in Portuguese, Advanced Excel, and English skills are required, along with outstanding communication and teamwork skills.  Intermediate Spanish recommended. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven track-record of ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in an autonomous work environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to shine in a results-driven environment.
  • Understanding of the critical growth factors that influence success on Marketplaces.
  • Innovative problem-solver and self-starter who enjoys constantly learning to adapt to the ever-changing environment of Amazon and other Marketplaces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing/agency environments.
  • Experience scaling teams, defining processes, and implementing operational frameworks (SLAs, workflows, governance).
  • Experience working with marketplace data sources (Brand Analytics, Vendor Central reports, Mercado Libre Insights) is a plus.
